Food was perfect. Service was quick and friendly. Vibes: oldtimey including elderly couple warming a giant tea kettle over a fire bucket. Loved it

This is a beautiful experience to visit. Cafe has its history all over the walls and two beautiful elderly owners still pottering away. It is not going to provide a life-changing food experience, but you will leave happier than when you walked in.

Their karaage is some of the best I've had in Japan. Highly recommended. While all the tourists head to the glitzier looking places, do yourself a favor and just go here.

Simple restaurant serving curry rice and other simple fare. The serving is a little small but freshly made. The curry rice is nice and warm but the surprise is the chicken karage which is really hot and lightly battered, good for a cold rainy day. It is one of the few restaurants open after 230pm.

Standard hot coffee, but their cheesecake is the best! The thick consistency is like a basque burnt cheesecake or new york cheesecake. Very rich and creamy with a tartness akin to using lots of cheese.
